Passed away March 24, 2014. She was 92. Service will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, April 4, 2014 at 10:00 AM. She was born March 14, 1922 on a farm near Griswold, IA. She attended Kearney State College and taught school for 2 years. She married Joseph "Jack" Foster in 1942. They farmed for ten years in Iowa and then moved to Aurora, CO. She was a bookkeeper at their Jack Frost Inc. Meat business until she retired. In 1982 they moved to Green Valley, AZ for 15 years and then back to Aurora in 1997. She belonged to the Presbyterian Church and attended church at Heather Gardens Chapel in her later years. She is survived by her sons Steven of Thornton and Gregg of Denver, grandson Dale of Thornton, sister Beth Rabe of Stuart, IA and many loved nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her son Phillip John, parents Chester and Lulu Towne, brothers Dale and Howard, sisters Lois Grafke, Louise Jenkins Beth Schwinn, Vivian Hilding and Mary Jo Brenning.
