Dennis was born in Milwaukee, WI on November 16, 1946 to Raymond and Jule Arndt, who preceded him in death. He was the eldest of three children and is survived by his two younger brothers and their families: Wayne Arndt and Daryl Arndt.
Dennis’ first job was at the Fruit Ranch, which was his passion and where he met his future wife. Prior to his marriage to Rachel in 1968, Dennis served his country as a member of the Army Reserve.
During his years of employment, Dennis was a Vice President of Residential Mortgages for Security Bank until his retirement to Destin, FL in 1994. He later relocated to Round Rock, TX in 2013. Dennis’ favorite past time was spent watching the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and Milwaukee Bucks. In his younger days, he enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing cards. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Cedar Park, TX.
He is survived by his bride of 52 years, Rachel (Kienast) Arndt and his two children: Renee (Arndt) and her husband, Donny Meredith of Round Rock, TX and Justin Arndt and his wife, Becki Williams of Oak Creek, WI. He was most beloved Papa to Lucas and Piper.
A memorial service will be held for family and friends at Good Shepherd, Cedar Park, TX on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 10AM. He will later be laid to rest at Pinelawn Cemetery, Milwaukee, WI.
