Gleneth E. Alexander left this life to be with his Lord on May 16, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Janey Alexander, step children Neva Strickland (Jim) and Keith Wood (Treva), seven grandchildren Jason, Jamie, Jonathan, Michael, Joshua, Christina and Joseph, four great grandchildren, nephews Mike Alexander and Stacy Alexander and niece Starla Teague.
Glen retired from the Archer Daniels Midland Company. Also after 42 years of service with the Tennessee Army National Guard he retired with the rank of Master Sergeant. He enjoyed woodworking, woodturning, clockmaking, photography and civil war reenactment. His hobbies extended into his service at his church. While a trustee of Ellendale United Methodist church he built a pulpit, time capsule, and chancel handrails for use in worship services.
A gathering of family and friends for Glen will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. A celebration of life service will follow at 2:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133 . Immediately following will be the committal service at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133.
