Thomas Allen Jones

Thomas A. Jones, 70, of Memphis Passed away early Sunday evening at Methodist Germantown Hospital. He leaves behind his loving wife of 41 years, Brenda, two sisters, Cheryl Sansom and Darlene Foster of Munford, TN, two nephews Michael (Liezl), Sansom of Memphis, TN, and Tom (Kristy) Perme of Phoenix, AZ, one great niece and great nephew and many cherished friends and neighbors.

Tom was a graduate of Treadwell High School and attended Memphis State University. He was also a Navy veteran. Tom retired from Coors Brewery after more than 30 years.

His love for the outdoors began with the Boy Scouts and continued throughout his life. He enjoyed traveling, backpacking, scuba diving, and experiencing new places. In his later years, he enjoyed sitting on the porch with his dog, visiting with his neighbors and friends.

The family will receive friends from 9am until service time at 10am, on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown PKY., Bartlett, TN 38133.
