Karen Barras

Preceding her in death were her parents and her brothers Randy and Roger Barras.

She is survived by her nephews, David Barras of Katy, Texas, Randy Barras and wife Julie of Katy, Texas, Timothy Barras of Nashville, Tennessee; her niece, Lindsey Barras of Pflugerville, Texas; her sister-in-law Kathy Barras of Sun City; her great nephews, Beaux and Zachary Barras of Katy, Texas and numerous cousins.

Karen graduated from Lamar University with a Masters in Political Science. After graduating, she moved to Houston, Texas in 1976 where she retired in 2016.

Her interests include reading, sewing, soccer and Little Theater. She loved animals, remodeling her house and traveling.

She was a sweet, caring and courageous woman, loved by many and will be forever missed.
