Nerio Angelo passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on January 26, 2023. He was born on March 25, 1938, in Roccacasale, Italy. He later immigrated to Montreal, Canada. While visiting with his sister in Ohio, he met his future wife, Mary, where they subsequently married and started a family.
Angelo was son to Michael and Maria Falcone (both deceased), he is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Mary Grace Falcone, and his children Mary (Franco) D’Ascanio, Eva Falcone, Michele (Gino) DeSanctis, Angela (Scott) Luttge. He loved his eight grandchildren, Franco, Nicholas, Lisa, Randy, Michael, Eugene, Matthew, Gina, and his five great-grandchildren, Aiden, Giuliana, Carli, Camden, and Palmer. Angelo had three sisters, Catherine and Giovanna (deceased), and is survived by his sister, Domenica, and numerous nieces and nephews, who loved him deeply.
Angelo spent his early years working at First Energy Electric Company in Ohio. He led a life full of faith and family. He served as a Eucharistic Minister and was a Brother of the Order of the Knights of Columbus at his Catholic church. His faith and family were his priority, passing it down to his children and grandchildren. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and a shining example of what it means to be a true family man. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy will live on through the memories and lessons he shared with his loved ones.
A viewing for family and friends will be held Thursday, February 2nd from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Babione Funeral Home West, 10060 Calle Comercio Dr., Boca Raton. Angelo’s memorial service will be held Friday, February 3rd at 11:00 am. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 10300 Yamato Rd., Boca Raton. Interment will be at the Boca Raton Cemetery & Mausoleum, 451 SW 4th Ave., Boca Raton, following the memorial service.
Rest in peace Angelo. You will always be loved and never forgotten.
