I worked with Gretha at the Hotel Del Coronado  we became life long friends .  She had my wedding shower & baby shower . We had such a great time.  One day we even got in the car & I drove us into Mexico  lol  we didn't know what where we were going we were shopping for a christening dress for Natasha . We never laughed so had when we couldn't get out of T J   we kept going around in circles   She was a great lady & good friend     R I P my dear friend

I had the honor of working with Gretha as a caregiver for the last 7 months of her life.  The dementia had solidly taken over, yet when we were out walking at the lake, or feeding the ducks, visiting friends, or out to eat at restaurants, I'd see the "Gretha" everyone tells me about. Big hearted, fun loving, tremendously giving, style conscious coupled with a no nonsense approach to life!  A do-it-yourself kind of lady, and don't let anybody get in the way of that! I saw her ornery side too and loved it!  She was a delight to be with each day and we quickly became close friends.  To all who have known her for decades, I can see what an absence she leaves in your lives, yet her life was so full of LIFE, you all have much to celebrate as well.  most sincerely, Carmen


Gretha was our neighbor for many years.  My mom, Donna Kulasxa, had the privilege of caring for Dawn and Ray while Gretha went to work. Gretha was a great mom, as evidenced by her kids always minding and being respectful. She is remembered as a very hard worker who provided for her kids. We are very blessed to know and love this entire family.  Praying for peace and comfort.

To our dear dear and long time friend, Gretha.  We just viewed all your special photos your family.  What a great life and great accomplishments you have made.  We first met you and Roy when we were in Lancaster and Roy was working with Cactus Gold with Mike.  What a great and long friendship that turned in to.  So many formal meals you cooked for us.  Always steak and asparagus because you knew it was Mikes favorite.  Always china and crystal and silver.  You taught me a lot about class and proper table setting.  We shared many dinners and parties over the past 30 plus years.  So much fun to drive to Garth Brooks show with you and celebrate one of your anniversaries.  You are the kindest person I have ever met.  I have always commented that no matter who worked or repaired something at your house, in your opinion they were the nicest, best workers, cleaned things up, did the best job.  You always had nice things to say about everybody.  We will miss our monthly lunches, The Galley or Anthonys or Kings Fish House.  Roy will be so very very glad to have you with him again.  We will always love and miss you.
