Good Morning to Carmel and the whole family.
Here we are, down the road three years since Bill went to realms on high.  I can't help but wonder if he is manipulating a hive or two so he can have "raw honey" with a dab of peanut butter on a premium cracker and a glass of milk.  
Just yesterday I was thinking of Bill as I was loading wood into my outdoor wood burning furnace.  I helped Bill to install it better than 13 years ago.  I merely reiterate his complete knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems was most unusual.  His experience he gained over years of servicing and installing units created a demand for his professional service.
Bill and Carmel's seat in church was more or less reserved just for them.  I still picture him sitting in his place Sunday after Sunday.  Bill also ushered when it was time to receive tithes and offerings.  
I value the friendship we developed through the years of association. Good Morning Bill!!  When you see my mother and dad express my gratitude for their faithfulness in their walk with the Lord.   

Do I ever wish Bill  was here.  His total and complete understanding of the workings of my outdoor wood burning furnace has never been forgotten.  It needs some attention now but he is the only person I trust to solve my problem. He knew plumbing and heating like the back of his hand.  Somehow I will figure my problem out.  Great guy!  Great friend!  Great plumber.   Honest as the day is long.

I want to share a fact that Bill and I had in common.  This may be little known but we were both apiculturalists.  We were both bee keepers.  It is quite a hobby to be involved with when there is an appreciation of nature.  Bill was an advocate of the importance of eating “raw honey”.  That refers to honey that has not been processed with the use of high temperature.  The mineral benefits are enhanced when heat is kept low.  Bill saw the age many don’t live to see....could raw honey be a factor??

Growing up in our church, I have many wonderful memories of Bill. From his warm and heart felt smile and playful banter each Sunday in church, to a teen work day at he and Carmel’s home.  I was blessed to have known such a good man.  My sincere condolences to Carmel and family. 

I will never forget my association with Bill.  My respect for Bill goes far beyond his excellent knowledge of heating and air conditioning be it old or new working.  When I learned that he flew in gliders in WWII and how dangerous those missions were and how productive they were in the war effort...my hat was tipped to him a hundred times over.  Bill introduced me to Franklin Stove Hydro-heaters which he helped me install in  my home.  He replaced my oil boiler with a new one.  When I decided to go out doors with an Outdoor Wood Burning Furnace, Bill said, I'll do it if you'll be my helper.  Bill's  penmanship was second to none.  So neat,  He did everything off the top of his head.  I missed him when he retired and I doubly miss him now. Bill is just over in the Glory Land but we'll meet up again.  I know where but I don't know when.  May the peace Bill has now be with his family.
