It is with great sadness that we announce the
unexpected passing of Laurie on March 6
after a brief illness. She was predeceased by
her father William (1983). She is survived by
her mother Bruna, sister Janet, Zio Bruno,
aunts Regina, Ada, Imelda and Giuseppina
and numerous cousins in the Marconato and
Benedet families. Laurie was a devoted
teacher and taught at Queen of All Saints for
30 years. Laurie's beautiful smile, her quick
laugh and her wonderful, kind personality will
be truly missed by all. Funeral Mass will be
celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Church,
525 Slocan Street, Vancouver, on Friday,
March 15 at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to the charity of
your choice.
