I am shocked and broken hearted to hear about Loretta's passing.  She was a member of Ladies First in Marble Falls, where I am employed. All of our members are devastated. Laretta lit up the room when she came in. She was always in good spirits and had a great sense of humor. She liked to talk about how she went to the Casino and was  ready to go again! She was very proud of her sons and always mentioned them in conversation. We will all miss her, dearly!

Laretta was one of the strongest, sweetest persons and just a beautiful woman inside and out. I only had the privilege to share some quiet talks and visits with her at Sharons bedside before Sharon moved to Heaven. I was so amazed how she was comforting and encouraging me while having to process this life changing moment and great loss.  She just amazed me.  My heart is broken at her loss and for your loss. I know she will be missed so much by so many. But I know she’s watching over you all and loving you always and forever.  God rest her sweet soul and praying peace and comfort over yours now and in the days to come.  Love you!

Remember working with Mrs Maxwell and I grew up in that Nieghbor hood,hard working woman and how she Loved her family, losing her daughter Sharon took a toil on her,but having Boo around lightened her days and always made her smile, My deepest condolences and prayers to the family 

Our Deepest Condolences To All The Family and Friends of Maxwell's.Mrs. Maxwell was a wonderful person to have known.She was an awesome Nurse as well ,She was a Nurse who took her job very serious.We All Loved her here at the Bertram Nursing Home,She could always make us laugh,especially with the stories she had of her shift late at night and the strange noises she would here..She will be Deeply Missed by Everyone!

What can I say..... my heart is so broken.  Mrs. Maxwell would make Maxie and I wonderful meals before some of our basketball games. I loved that lady!  Every Mother’s Day since Maxie passed I would bring Mrs. Maxwell flowers.  I’m so glad I was able to do that.  What a reunion it had to of been to see Bruce and Maxie in Heaven. Love to you all.  I am so sorry.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I have known this beautiful soul most of my life, she was always so good and sweet to me, always had a laugh and a smile for everyone. I won’t ever forget she would always tell me, “Darrell should have married you”, this meant so much to me that, she thought so well of me, I sure will miss seeing her smile and hearing  her kind words. Ms Laretta, flying with her Angels, her husband and children gone before her. My most sincere condolences to her family especially Boo, Darrell and Carlos, God bless you all and know she is still watching over her boys. 

We called her Maxwell here at Bertram Nursing Home. She worked here for 34 years. She was a go getter, and took us all under her wing.  If you worked a graveyard shift, your more than likely worked with Maxwell. There was always coffee to drink (she would bring her own stash)  and she loved to feed us whatever she brought for her lunch.  I personally loved working with her because  when there were silent moments in the night,  we had time to chit chat about life, kids, families.   Hearing the news that she passed away has been hard for all of us who had the privilege to know her and work with her.   Rest in peace, Maxwell.  I can still hear your voice and laugh.
