She is reunited with her beloved husband, Boleslaw (d. 2004). Loving mother of Ed Niewinski (Donna) of New Dundee and Krys Woods (Terry) of Cambridge. Cherished Babcia of Dave Niewinski (Barbara), Erin Niewinski (Nic), Jeff Woods (Jess), and Katie Woods and proud great-grandmother of Madelyn and Oliver.

Halina was a long time parishioner of St. Ambrose Church and a member of the Polish Club of Cambridge. She loved needlepoint and sewing and she was known for her handmade teddy bears. She was an amazing cook who loved to entertain and travelled the world, but the most important thing in her life was her family.

In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place and a Service of Remembrance will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by her family.
