“Some people drink deeply from the fountain of knowledge. Others just gargle.” Many (many) years ago, I noticed this bit of wisdom on Bonnie’s desk while sitting with her as she tried to make a MAC believer out of me. It is a mantra that seems to pop into my thoughts regularly: I think of Bonnie each time it does. I also think of Bonnie each time my PC crashes and wonder if I should have paid more attention.

Two older brothers is a grind on a youngster like me and I am eternally grateful for the distraction Bonnie brought to that mix. At least my odds improved! She also brought a recipe for chocolate fudge shell ice cream topping and several leads for my burgeoning lawn mowing business during my high school years. Family dinners, trips, quiet time, movies and an unending quest to make sure all was in order are just a few of the cherished memories that will always remain with me.

Thank you, Bonnie, for sharing from the fountain of knowledge and for bringing so much happiness and lasting memories to our lives over the years.
