Iris N. Gray

Iris was born November 12, 1934 in Cabarrus County, NC to the late Leander C. Nash and Mary Lee Nash.

She was preceded in death by her husband, of 57 years, Russell K. Gray, Sr.; brother, David Nash; and daughter-in-law, Anna Marie Gray.

Iris was a member of the United States Power Squadron.

She is survived by her sons, Russell K. Gray, Jr. of Wake Forest; Kenneth Lee Gray, Sr. and his wife, Shari of Greenbrier, TN; daughter, Barbara G. Weller and her husband, Ross of Pine Grove, PA; brother-in-law, Robert B. Gray and his wife, Lynn of Grand Saline, TX; grandchildren, Michael Cooper and his wife, Wendy; Casey Taylor; Amanda Brozana; Tyler Weller; Justin Weller; Kenneth Gray, Jr.; and Daniel Gray; great grandchildren, Dillan Cooper; Noah Cooper; and Grace Cooper.

A funeral service will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, October 2 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home Chapel, 200 SE Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511. Interment will follow the service at Wake Memorial Park, 7002 Greenhope School Road, Cary, NC 27519.

The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Monday, October 1 at the funeral home.
