James Joseph Ptak Jr.

James J. Ptak Jr., age 92, decorated US Navy Veteran of World War II and Korea and proud airman aboard the USS Saratoga CV3, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2019. He was a longtime employee of Ohio Bell Telephone. Loving husband of the late Jennie (nee Holy); dear son of the late Joseph, Sr. and Mamie (nee Krcek); cherished brother of the late Joseph (Mary), Bob (Gloria); survived by loving family and wonderful friends. Friends may call at GATTOZZI AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 12524 Chillicothe Rd. (Route 306 N. of Mayfield Rd.) Chesterland, from 10-11am on Saturday May 11, 2019, where Funeral Service will be held at 11am.
