Hazel L. Heldt

Hazel was born in Charlevoix, Michigan and spent her childhood on the family farm with her six brothers and sisters. She enlisted in the army in 1944, serving throughout World War 2 as an X-Ray technician. She married the love of her life, Lawrence John Heldt, in 1947. Hazel worked as a medical office professional while raising her daughter Kathryn. Hazel was active in her church and in retirement with the Mount Clemens General Hospital Guild.

Hazel is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Jordan and her husband Keith; her grandchildren Cynthia Abbott and her husband Zachary; Lawrence Jordan and his wife Carleen; and Christopher Jordan; great granddaughters Alexis Alsup, Madison Alsup, and Lauren Abbott, as well numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
