Dear Friends,

Please accept my heartfelt sympathies on the passing of your dear mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Penny Poe.   I had the great privilege of working with Penny at the Court of Appeal, Fifth District, in Fresno for many years.   Time and again she would help new staff members figure out the intricacies of appellate records transmitted from the trial courts of the region to the District Court in Fresno.  Her warm smile and unfailing kindness brightened so many dreary days filled with incomplete documents and short-of-the-mark briefs.  Thank you for sharing this gracious and gifted woman with all of us at the Fifth DCA.
