Ruby Pearl Frye

Ruby will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Bill Smith, his wife, Annie DeYoung, Lynne Logan, her husband , Tony Logan, her grandson, David Smith, her great-niece, Devin Smith, and her cousins Eloise and Evelyn Evans.

In 1934, Ruby married George Frye, who died in 1970. Their daughters, Betty Smith, Linda Frye, and Judith Frye are all deceased. She was predeceased by her parents, Caoline and Henry Miller, Ruby was the youngest of 7 children, all deceased: a sister, Goldie, and 5 brothers - Frank, Williard, Otis, Ned and Hobart. She has had many wonderful friends over the yeaes, including her pastor, Dan Pritchett, and her best friend, Maggie Brown. Ruby was born in Branchland, West Virginia, and moved to Cocoa Beach in 1959. She worked in retail management and retired for the 3rd time when she was 80 years old.

Friends and family will be received at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home, 5475 N. U.S. Highway #1, Cocoa, Fl, 32927, from 10-11a.m. on March 29, 2018, and the funeral service will be at 11:00a.m. Ruby will be laid to rest at Brevard Memorial Park.
