Brent Alan Pyatt was born December 9, 1982. He grew up in Lamar, CO before moving to Colorado Springs after college. He and his wife Wendy met in 2006 and were married in 2009. They had two children, Emma and Myles and were married for nearly 15 years. Brent was a big guy with a big heart. He fiercely loved his family and was their great protector. He also had a big servant heart and anyone who knew him could attest to his desire to make others’ lives easier. He was good at everything he touched and he took pride in his work. He could learn a new skill and master it quickly. Brent was first and foremost a man of God. He always loved the Lord and wanted to serve him first. He dedicated his life to helping the lost find Jesus, and would talk to anyone and everyone about coming to church. He made people feel so comfortable and was friends with everyone. He was a Godly example to all on his work team, and they admired him and looked up to him greatly. He served wholeheartedly in his church as well, doing any and every task needed to further the mission of getting people saved. Even scrubbing coffee stains out of the floor. His other great desire in life was to make people laugh. He was so funny and clever and cared deeply for everyone around him. He would find those that were hurting and take care of them, whether it meant helping financially or having a life-giving conversation. He was an amazing artist, a problem solver, guardian, comedian, and worshipper. He will be GREATLY missed by all who knew him. His work on earth may be finished, but he is accomplishing much in Heaven now on our behalf. We can’t wait to see him again. We love you, Brent.
A a celebration of life for Brent will be held Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Rocky Mountain Calvary, 4285 N Academy Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80918.
