

Roldolfo Hernandez Loera passed away peacefully on Christmas morning at his home, December 25, 2015. He went home to be with the Good Lord and his beautiful wife that he missed very much. He was 85 years-old.
Rodolfo “Rudy” was born August 29, 1930 to Antonia & Ignacio Hernandez in Fierro New Mexico.
He very proudly served in the United States Army in 1951 during the Korean War.
Rudy married his high school sweet heart, Alicia Marquez in 1953, they were married for 42 years until the time his beloved wife would make her journey home to be with the Lord in 1999.
Rudy and Alicia moved to Redlands, California in 1958 where they settled and raised their four sons.
Rudy is survived by his brothers Eduardo and Ignacio Jr of Loma Linda; Sons Manuel “Sonny” (Lorraine), Raul (Mona), and Ruben all from Redlands, and Roberto (Becky) of Tustin, CA. Rudy’s only sister Eustolia went home to be with the Good Lord in 2007.
Rudy leaves a large family of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and god-children who loved him very much, as well as so many special friends!
Rudy had a great sense of humor and was quite the character and will be missed very much!
A Memorial Mass & Rosary will be held January 12, 2015 at 10 am at Holy Name of Jesus, 1205 Columbia St., Redlands, CA 92374 with interment following at Montecito Memorial Park 3520 E. Washington St., Colton CA 92324.
