Frances Seavey Shows

Frances Seavey Shows, age 83 passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 at The Myrtles in Columbia, MS. She was a native of Vicksburg, MS, and a graduate of Mississippi College for Women. Frances had been a longtime resident of Columbia where she was both an educator and active member of Columbia Presbyterian Church for many years, and the Mayflower Society. Mrs. Shows was preceded in death by her son, John Shows; parents, John Seavey and Frances Bowen Seavey. Surviving family members include her husband, Thad N. Shows, Sr.; a daughter, Margie Young (Lloyd); and a son, Thad N. Shows, Jr. (Karen). A graveside service will be held in honor of Mrs. Shows on Wednesday. January 13, 2021 at Matherville Cemetery in Matherville, MS.
