COLUMBIA - A visitation for Norman “Rick” McGee II, 71, will be held from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Monday, January 4, 2016, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with the eulogy at 4:00 p.m. Mr. McGee died Wednesday, December 30, 2015. Born in Columbia, he was a son of Theda McGee Elkins and the late Norman Richard McGee Sr. Mr. McGee retired after more than 40 years working at CSX Railroad as a Yardmaster. He coached Dixie Youth football and baseball for many years, was an avid golfer at Fort Jackson Golf Club and enjoyed being with his friends at the Mouse Trap. Surviving are his mother, Theda McGee Elkins of Edmund; son, Trevis Jason McGee of Columbia; sister, Mary M. Sturkie (Steven) of Gaston; two grandchildren, Little Rick and Charlotte; and companion of 30 years, Jo Gore.
