Juanita Garcia Rodriguez

Juanita Garcia Rodriguez passed away in her home on March 23, 2015 with her loving family by her side. She was 72. She was born on August 24, 1942 in Kingsville, TX to the late Felipe and Juanita Garcia.

She is preceded in death by her parents and numerous siblings.

She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Ismael A. Rodriguez; daughters, Diana Mireles (Benicio) and Zonia Vesely (Robert); grandchildren, Arwen Scafidi, Benicio Mireles Jr., Aiden Vesely. Juanita is also survived by numerous brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Juanita will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, loving nature and caring heart. She was a loving devoted wife and mother. She cared for many children throughout her life that her daughters saw as brothers and sisters. Her legacy will go on in our hearts forever. Juanita will be dearly missed, but we know that she is looking down on us from Heaven. “We love you.”

The family will be receiving friends and family at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
