Tomasa Garcia

She was born on December 23, 1930, to the late Manuel and Josefina Lopez, in Corpus Christi, TX.

Tomasa attended and was an active member of Our Lady of Guadalupe for many years. She also volunteered for many years at the Zavala Senior Center.

Tomasa was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos A. Garcia; parents, Manuel and Josefina Lopez.

Tomasa is survived by her four daughters, Yolanda G. Tanguma, Viola G. Cavazos, Criselda G. (Barry) Benner, Dolores G. (Cleofas) Rodriguez; her two sons, Carlos (Barbara) Garcia III, and David (Gina) Garcia.

Tomasa Garcia was blessed with 18 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel-Memorial Holly on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
