Mary Annabel Egbert

Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at noon at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Her final resting place will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may go to the Davenport Salvation Army. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com.

Mary was born in Ottumwa, Iowa on April 7, 1948. She was the daughter of Stephen and Mildred (Clarkson) Cox. She married Gary V. Egbert on July 1, 1988 in Davenport. He passed away June 2, 2020.

She worked as a machine operator for Crescent Bakery for many years prior to retiring. She loved to travel with her family and in her earlier years, enjoyed crocheting and knitting. While living in Davenport, Mary was a member of the Salvation Army Church.

Those left to celebrate her life include her daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Curt Kelley, grandsons, Dakota and Grayson Kelley, all of Albia; siblings: Goldean Flowers, Becky Sird, Ruby (Elmer) Hafele, Mike (Linda) Cox, Carol Thomas, Marsha (David) Hoxey, George Cox and Wendy (Gene) McCarty along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by brothers, Jeff and Steve.
