Norma W. Brandt, 105, of Davenport passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Ridge Crest Village, Davenport. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in The Runge Mortuary Chapel with visitation starting at 1:00 PM. She will be laid to rest in Pinehill Cemetery . Norma was born on July 11, 1912, a daughter of Ferd and Caroline (Rogencamp) Brandt in Scott County, Iowa.
Norma spent many years working on her family farm rising early in the morning to milk the cows and make breakfast for everyone in the family. She was instrumental at harvest time cooking for all the hired hands.
After leaving the family farm she spent many years working as a housekeeper.
She is survived by her loving brother Randall W. Brandt, Davenport and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Raymond and her twin brother Norman.
