Donald H. Addison, Sr. age 73 of Ashe Ave., Dunn, died on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Johnston Memorial Medical Center in Smithfield. Donald was born on September 15, 1946 in Harnett County the son of the late William Addison, Sr. and Zona Davis Addison. Donald was a U.S. Army Veteran and was retired with New York State and retired Martin Marietta Aggregate. He enjoyed pier fishing at the beach, gardening and working with his hands.
He is survived by his wife: Jessie Addison of the home; Daughters: Tammy Sue Morrison and husband Robert of Erwin; Sherri Lee Addison and husband Dale Stanley of Erwin; Son: Donald H. Addison, Jr. and wife Timi Jo of Godwin, NC; Grandchildren: Dale Wilson, Jr., Andy Wilson, Brooke Morrison, Luke Morrison & Tyler Morrison; Sisters: Peggy Barefoot of Sampson County; Janice Lucas and husband Roger of Dunn, NC; Pam Whittington and husband Sam of Erwin, NC; Brothers: Phil Addison and wife Theresa of Dunn, NC and Billy Addison and wife Pam of Erwin, NC
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from 11:00 am – 12:00 Noon at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home in Dunn. One hour prior to the Service.
A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 12:00 noon at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Military Honors. Rev. Phil Addison & Rev. Jerome Pope will be officiating the service.
