OBITUARIO
Ronald Colin Crockford
5 enero , 1957 – 26 junio , 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce Ronald Colin Crockford passed away surrounded by his family on June 26, 2019.
Ron was born and raised in Medicine Hat and resided on his acreage in Ardrossan.
He was predeceased by his first wife (Loreli), his father (Colin), and his mother (Irene).
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 23 years, Donna (Munro) Crockford. He is also survived by his son Colin, daughter Danielle Gallagher (Tim), sister Daphne Scholz (Sieg), niece Brandy Lungul (Kevin), nephew Bryce Scholz (Jessie), and his great nieces and nephews.
He was an accomplished competitive trap shooter who won several provincial and Canadian championships. His big laugh and “bad” jokes will never be forgotten by his many friends, family, and fellow trap shooters.
A celebration of life will be held on July 4th, 2019, at the Edmonton Gun Club from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you send any donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
Good shootin’, Crock.

Donna,
Please accept our sincerest condolences to you, Danielle and family. Claude and I so enjoyed spending time with you both at our dinner table and around the bonfire. Remember when I locked our keys in the truck at you birthday party? I'm thankful that Ron was the calm one as Claude paced back and forth while we relaxed around the bonfire. Ron cooked up at storm that day never seen so many types of meat at one BBQ - it was delicious - you could see the love in his eyes for you and we are so sorry for your loss.
Sincerely,
Claude and Shelley

Hi Donna: It has been many years since I shot and a very odd coincidence that I heard of Ron's passing. Such sad news. I always enjoyed being around Crock at the shoots with his sense of humor - even if it meant getting my ass kicked most of the time. He was a determined competitor but always gracious and a gentleman. My deepest sympathies to you, your family and the whole shooting community.

Donna and Danielle and family. Bob and I are so saddened to hear of Ron’s passing. He had the biggest smile. We always enjoyed visiting with him at the Christmas parties. And I too remember the great bonfire birthday party he created for Donna. His love for both of you was always really apparent. A warm hug at this really heartbreaking time for you.

I am especially thinking of Donna and Danielle, who dearly loved Ron and will miss him. Ron showed his love in many ways . He fully supported both of them in their equine adventures even though he did not ride horses himself. He had a heart of gold and was always very hospitable. He also loved to cook which Donna appreciated. I remember one of Donna's special birthday surprise celebrations at the acreage, where Ron invited many of her friends. We hade a big bon fire with food drinks, dancing, jokes and story telling. Darcy and I enjoyed the dancing!!! Gerald and I then spent the night in their fifth wheel. We will miss you Ron. Love Gerald and Shirley

I first met Ron in 1988 when I was the catalyst specialist for 22-1 then later as I worked in the tank farm/22-1. He was truly a nice man . I enjoyed his jokes , smile and I learned a lot from him. When your young , working in a new job and atmosphere it was scary . coming to work and seeing Crock there made you feel comfortable and welcome. He will be missed . Unfortunately I will not be able to attend his memorial. My condolences to your family .

I remember Sunday shoots at the Fort Mac Fish and Game Association range. We spent some serious time there doing things from arranging funding for facilities, to putting the floor down in the clubhouse, to painting the range buildings and fences. Ron was always an enthusiastic member of the small shooting family that we had there. His memory will always be cherished!
