It is with great sadness that the family of Gabriel Perez Jr., announce his passing on February 7, 2019 at the age of 76. Gabriel will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years Maria Teresa, and his devoted daughters Kathryn (Perez) Alamos and spouse Pedro Borunda, Lydia Perez and spouse Bobby Joe, Andrea Perez, and his adopted daughter Sandra Alamos. Gabriel is also survived by his beautiful granddaughters Samantha and her significant other Robbie Mena, Katelyn Mollohan and Taylor Mollohan. He will also be remembered by his numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and dear longtime friends.
Gabriel’s passions included spending time with family, exchanging stories with friends, building things with his hands and working on his home.
Visitation will be from 5-9pm, with a Prayer Service at 7pm on Friday, February 15, 2019 at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Drive. A Mass will be celebrated in memory of Gabriel on Saturday, February 16 at 9:30am at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 8011 Williamette Avenue. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery East, 12400 Montana Avenue. Arrangements under the direction of Hillcrest Funeral Home, (915) 598-3332.
