Anita Faye Timmons, 73, of Henderson, KY, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at the Heritage Center Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born on May 13, 1947 in Mayfield, KY to the late Clifton and Mary (Langham) Timmons.
Anita had a heart of gold and never met a stranger. She was incredibly generous and loving and devoted her life to the service of others. Anita was a woman of strong faith and ingrained into her children that their faith would get them through. She knew the bible cover to cover, and could always give others scripture that would bring them comfort and support.
Being the oldest of ten, Anita was always there to help raise and support her siblings during their younger years. She was incredibly proud of them and always shared her fondest memories with her children and grandchildren. Anita loved the family vacations her children would take her on. They traveled to the beach, mountains and her favorite trip was to the Grand Canyon two years ago. She was amazed by the beauty of her surroundings. Anita was loved beyond measure and was an incredible Mom and Nana.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Cooper; siblings, Becky Moore, Cassie Fuquay, Mark Timmons and Ada Timmons
Anita is survived by her daughter, Kim Colavecchia (Tony) of Peoria, AZ; son, R. T. O’Nan (Jessica) of Evansville, IN; daughter, Ali Timmons of Henderson, KY; grandchildren, Forrest, Brik, Shelby, Chantel, Carmine, Jackson, and Josh; great grandchildren, Landry, Payton, Lincoln, Parker, Tucker, Bella, Tessa, Clara, Vada, Annabelle, and Greyson; siblings, Robert Timmons, Elizabeth Blahovec, Christi Delgman, Jenni Sinnett, and Naomi Ruder-Timmons.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at Alexander East Chapel, with Pastor Tom Hubachek officiating. The Funeral Service will be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/FuneralStreamUSA. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. The family will be wearing masks, please feel free to do so, but it is not required.
