Funeral services are scheduled June 5th, for Bernice Elizabeth Flinn, 92, 3120 Live Oak Blvd., Yuba City, who died peacefully at 9:40 am on Tuesday morning on May 21, 2013 at The Fountains in Yuba City, California.
Born in Tennessee as Bernice Parham, she lived in Las Vegas, Nevada, San Francisco, California, Pomona, California and for the last 52 years, in Yuba City and Sutter, California. She enjoyed a long career expressing her creativity as a hairdresser.
Survivors include three children, Jill Wasden of Taos, New Mexico, Jarl Forsman-Sekhon of Sausalito, California, Don Forsman of Yuba City, California; one step-daughter Donna Patrick of Yuba City, California; two grandchildren, Thomas J. Finley of Middleton, California and Ali Forsman-Schneider of Oakland, California; and one great-grandchild, Jackson Finley. She is also survived by two sisters and one brother, Bonnie Lee of Barstow, California, Bennie Murphy of Anaheim and Bill Parham of Anaheim.
Funeral services will be held June 5, 2013 at 1 pm at Mount Vernon Mortuary Chapel in Fair Oaks, California followed by a grave-sight committal service at Court of Honor North.
