Meinhardt “Jack” Jacober, age 90, of Fairborn, died on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Greene Oaks Retirement Community in Xenia. He was born the son of Jacob & Katherine (Bertch) Jacober on September 26, 1925 in New Leipzig, North Dakota. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lucille, son Steven, all of his siblings, and son in law Robert. He is survived by his loving daughter Stephanie Morris, granddaughter Chloe Morris, nieces Becky (Darrell) Schmidt, Debra (Randy) Lanter, and Pamela (Bobby) Bruner, great nephew Jason, and great nieces Taylor, Jensen, and Allyssa. Jack served his country proudly with the United States Army during WWll. He retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base after 30 dedicated years. Jack was a longtime member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Fairborn. Jack was a loving father, grandfather, and uncle. He will be missed by all who love him. Friends may call on Saturday, July 23, 2016, Noon to 1PM at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church 100 E. Main St. Fairborn, Ohio where services will follow at 1PM with Pastor John Place officiating.
