On Wednesday, October 22, 2014 lived in Locust Grove, Virginia for 10 years, originally from North Carolina. She is survived by her son, Kenneth W. Rodgers, Sr. and wife, Susan; brothers , John and wife Leila Kimmer and Jeff Kimmer; sisters, Linda and husband, Kenneth Brooks and Kay and husband, Stuart Drake; and grandchildren, Kenny, Jr., Joseph Ryan and Christopher John; aunt and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at Murphy Funeral Home, Falls Church, Va. from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2014. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31st at the funeral home. Interment will follow at National Memorial Park, Falls Church.
