JEAN VAN ANDA, 87, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016, at Golden Years Homestead, Fort Wayne. Born in Pleasant Township, Ohio, Jean was a homemaker and a member of St. Joe United Methodist Church. Surviving are her sons, Dan (Jo) Van Anda of Barrington, Ill. and Steve Van Anda of Fort Wayne; daughter, Debra Richardville of Fort Wayne; three grandchildren, Shawn Richardville, Nicole Houser and Brooke (Ryan) Casey; great-granddaughter, Emma Houser; sister, Nancy (Chuck) Baechler of Chalfont, Pa.; and brothers, Roger (Diane) Grim of New Bavaria, Ohio and Gary (Linda) Grim of Defiance, Ohio. She was preceded in death by husband, Arthur George Van Anda; parents, Otis and Tressa (Kinner) Grim; sister, Faye Herr; and precious granddaughter, Tressa Van Anda. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 25, 2016, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road Calling is from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016, at the funeral home.
