Rosalyn Irene Stephens

Rose Stephens of Fort Wayne went home to be with the Lord on February 18, 2020, at the age of 90 years. Rose was a daughter to Will and Winnifred (Bond) Grubb and a beloved wife to LeRoy Stephens. She was mother to Melanie (Robert) Atkison, Richard (Beth) Pusti, Kathy (Fred) Speckert and stepmother to Jeanna Ryder, Zorena Brown, and Paula Stephens. Rose treasured 15 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Rose cherished her faith, her family, and her friends. She loved working in her beautiful flower gardens and watching her playful cats, Hope and Faith. Her family would like to thank the staff of Lutheran Life Villages Pine Valley for their loving care. Rose was proceeded in death by her parents and her siblings, Janice Baumgartner and Robert Grubb. Her funeral service is at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2020 at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home with calling from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Preferred memorials are to be of service to those less fortunate, to feed your soul through the Word of God, and to simply be kind to all you meet.
