Leta J. Troutt

Jean Troutt, 88, of Amarillo Passed away peacefully on May 12, 2018. She was residing at Avanti Assisted Living in Flower Mound, Texas. Jean grew up in Fort Worth but raised her family in Amarillo were she taught school for over 20 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Bobby Troutt in 2015, younger brother Billy Charles in 1933 and her parents Robert and Lavenia Sarratt.

She is survived by her three children, Dana Merchant, Debbie Scott and Randy Troutt. 8 grandchildren Shad and Shawn Merchant; Shane, Ashley and Shelby Ward; Clinton, Whitney and Cody Troutt; step grandson Stephen Smith, and 15 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel in Fort Worth, Texas Thursday May 17, 2018 at 1:00 pm..
