A fun, loving, kind and big-hearted woman of strength and Mother to all. June embodied the very tenant of communal participation, friendship, loyalty and shown empathy towards everyone she ever met. A Mother who always put her children first, the fun Mom. Always there for PTA, football practice, candy sales, paper routes, homework, projects, recreation, creating adventure where none existed – something from nothing. She taught us all to make our own way, to be able to laugh at ourselves, to celebrate our uniqueness and to love who we are.
7 children, 3 states, 6 cities and 9 houses, making each and every one a home. June had a knack for making you feel at ease, whether you were friend or foe. She did not care much for taking sides, just taking care of everyone. She was an avid artist, often working as a teacher’s assistant in art class. She loved selling Avon, interacting with others, and the pride and accomplishment of doing it on her own. She was recognized with several Sales Achievement Awards, revealing her ability to make her own way.
We honor her by living as she taught us to live. We respect her by respecting all those around us. We show our love for her by loving everyone, regardless of our judgments. We remember her by keeping her in our hearts, in our dreams and in the way we carry ourselves for the rest of our lives.
June will be laid to rest next to her loving husband David Keller who passed in 2001. Also preceding her in death were sisters Carole Reek and Veronica Zychowicz, brother Richard Langhaar and her dear son Timothy.
June leaves to cherish her life and memory, her sister Elizabeth Shenay of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, her children Kathryn Corder of Hilliard, Ohio, David Keller of Darbydale, Ohio, Kevin Keller of Dayton, Ohio, Mike Keller of Bellbrook, Ohio, Brian Keller of Yellow Springs, Ohio and Christopher Keller of Springboro, Ohio; and their families, including 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren along with a lifetime of dear friends.
