Sister was a great woman. She always treated me good and we shared a laugh at least once every time I saw her. The last time I talked to her on the phone she was not well. I told her she was loved and said goodbye. She will be missed. I have many great memories of her.

Sister was such a sweet aunt. I cherish the memories I have of all of the wonderful times I spent when I was real young with sissie, Kimball, and Sue. I know there is so many funny stories out there of sister having to put up with me and Kimball. I have such great memories of her being my second mom that I wanted my kids to have that same unconditional love that sister had for everyone so she watched my two kids Taylor and Evan when they were young. We could have never and really didn't ever show Sister how much we loved her, but it was hard because she gave us so much throughout our lives. She was a hard worker providing for her family, a wonderful cook, and really one of the leaders of the Banks family. I loved the times throughout my life when I could be with mom, Jean, Opal, Joyce, and my sweet sissie. I thought whatever they said was gospel, and the love that they showed their families was really unbelievable. I wanted to be successful in life, but I always knew that whatever happened to me I had some praying women that would always love me unconditionally. When you go through adversity in your life or celebrate life's successes you always knew that sister would be there for you. They all had a wonderful mother and sister was a lot like Granny Banks. I am just so fortunate that I had sister, my mom, great aunts, wonderful uncles, awesome dad, great cousins, good brothers, and just a connection to a great bunch of people. I know that Sister was so special to so many people. I know that Melody, me, Taylor, and Evan are better people because we had her in our lives for so many special years. She was one of the most giving people I have ever been around. She and Kimball were good people.

Aunt "Dopey" was one of the sweetest people I've ever known. Heaven definitely gained an angel.
