Alma M Wagner

Alma at age 94, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2012. She was born on December 22, 1917, in Sanger, Ca., to Peter and Margaretha Schmidt. She was raised in Madera County and graduated from Madera High School in 1935.

She worked for Security/Safeco Title as a Senior Escrow Officer and Branch Manager for over 25 years before taking an early retirement in 1973. During her retirement, she enjoyed reading, knitting, and cooking her favorite recipes while also watching her grandchildren grow up.

She was preceded in death by her husband Theodore; her brothers, Samuel, Peter, Harry, Fred, and Chester Schmidt; and her sisters, Lydia Gilliland and Martha Wagner.

She is survived by her son, Robert and his wife Stephanie; her grandson, Troy Wagner and his wife Lorrie; granddaughter, Brooke Matthews and her husband Beau; along with five great-grandchildren, Carson and Morgan Wagner, Erick, Drake, and Chase Matthews.
