Yvonne Schafer transitioned from her temporal body into the arms of Jesus peacefully on May 9, 2021, with her immediate family by her side in Fresno, California at the age of 80.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 61 years Rondel Schafer, her children Daniel Schafer and wife Rita Schafer, Kenneth Schafer, and Christie Kiessling and husband Robert Kiessling; grandchildren Daniel Schafer, Jr. and Andrew Schafer; siblings Ray Nelson, Darla Truman, and Cheryl Folsom, along with several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life is scheduled on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., at Castro Valley First Baptist Church located at 18550 Redwood Road, Castro Valley, CA, 94546.
