Alex was born in Blue Earth, MN on December 27, 1982 to Ellen Dalton and Timothy Hynes. In May of 1988, Alex and his blended family moved to Steamboat Springs, CO, and he attended schools within the Steamboat Springs School District. Alex lived in Fort Collins and Denver, working in restaurants and spending time enjoying music, cooking, riding his e-bike and attending concerts with his closest friends.
Alex is survived by his mother, Ellen Dalton and stepfather, Jerry Dalton of Steamboat Springs, CO; brother, Cory Hynes and nephew, Lincoln and niece, River; stepsister, Tessa Foss and nieces, Taylor, Morgan and Matea; stepbrothers, Brady (Kelly) Dalton and Tyler Dalton.
