Elizabeth Lavigne Niquiporo

Elizabeth Lavigne Niquiporo, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the age of 71, surrounded by her loving family. She was a native of Bedico, LA and a resident of Gonzales, LA. Elizabeth enjoyed fishing, as she liked to call herself the “fish whisperer”. Her greatest joy was being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Bernard and Mozella Joiner Lavigne; sister and brother in law, Gloria and Stanley Meades; and brother, Donald Lavigne. She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband of 51 years, Joseph Niquiporo; daughter, Jennifer Lynn Niquiporo; sons, John Allen Niquiporo, Joey Lee Niquiporo and wife Crystal; sisters, Sophie Cobb, Joan Hoover; brothers, Ernest Lavigne, Jr., Walter Lavigne and wife Brenda; grandchildren, Peyton and Kensey Niquiporo; step grandchildren, Courtney Rushing and Kacie Bergeron(Tanner); great grandchildren; Aubrey Parker, Raylen and Jackson Grossman, Rex Rushing, Benson and Bradley Bergeron. Numerous nieces, nephews, friends and coworkers. Family and friends of Elizabeth are invited to attend the Visitation on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Ourso Funeral Home-Gonzales from 5pm-9pm.
