Mary was born March 20, 1926 in New York, NY to Albert and Rose (Lavezzola) Biagiotti. She met Jack Holt in New York while he was serving in the Navy during WWII. They married in September 1945 and had a son, Jack T Holt, Jr., before relocating to Texas and raising Jackie and another six children in Grand Prairie. “Mama” was a loving mother and talented homemaker. She lit up a room with her boundless energy, beautiful smile, and contagious laughter. She was a fireball, who loved and was well loved by so many. She was truly courageous and an inspiration. Her absence will not go unnoticed.
Later in life, Mary returned to New York and met her second husband, Benny Vita. They married in December 1973. In 1992, Mary and Benny moved to Grand Prairie to be near family.
Mary is survived by her children Ronald Holt (Sandra Garrett) of Mansfield, TX, Susan Hansen of Rockwall, TX, Barbara and Joe Miller of Cash, TX, Mary and John Flores of Venus, TX, Robert and Mary Ann Holt of Santa Fe, NM, and Karen and Robert Wallace of Midlothian; seventeen grandchildren, and nineteen great grandchildren; a sister, Diana Everly of Bridgeton, NJ, and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by son, Jack (Jackie) T. Holt, Jr., husband Benny P. Vita, first husband Jack T. Holt, grandson Robert W. Wallace, Jr., and brothers Louis Arthur Biagiotti and Albert Joseph Biagiotti.
