

Clifford Dale Garner, 66 of Gresham OR, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016. He was born on October 28, 1949 in Dallas, Texas to Richard and Lillie (Conner) Garner. He was a 1967 graduate of David Douglas High School and received his Bachelors in Business Administration from Portland State University. His careers included 30 years as a business & systems analyst followed by 12 years with Portland General Electric as a transmission billings specialist and was proud to be PMP certified.
Cliff was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He married Sharon Venice Watson on August 7, 1990 in Jonesboro, Georgia and they were sealed on April 1, 1998 in the Atlanta Temple.
Cliff loved photography and was a “closet artist”. He also enjoyed playing several logic-based games.
Cliff is survived by his wife Sharon Watson-Garner of Gresham OR; daughters Tamara Flannagan (Sean) and Lynnette Sander (Greg) both of Gresham OR; sons Tommie Hunt of Gresham OR and Curtis Garner (Tana) of Lebanon OR; daughters Saundra Garnand (Michael) of Petal MS and Kendall Garner of Portland OR; daughter-in-law Kristina Carter-Harris (James) of Gales Creek OR; brother Skip Garner (Marlene) of Gresham OR; sisters Joyce Foss (Gordon) of Midlothian VA and Elaine Parno-West of Gresham OR; mother Lillie Parno of Portland OR; nineteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Public visitation will be held at 10:00am in the Relief Society Room with Funeral Services to follow at 11:00am on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the Blue Lake Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 22801 SE Stark in Gresham. Family Interment will follow at Skyline Memorial Gardens in Portland, Oregon. Donations may be made at www.specialolympics.org/donate as contributions in lieu of flowers. Arrangements entrusted to Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham, Oregon.
