Howard, like a ship that's left it's mooring and sails bravely out to sea, So someone Dear has Sailed away in calm serenity;
But there's promise of Greater Joy that Earth could have in store, for God has planned a richer life beyond the unseen Shore.
We always enjoyed Howard at our Navy Reunions

Rest in Peace my sweet father. Your illness had all us focused on IT and what had to be done during "the process" but now that you're with our Lord, we can focus on that smile and those eyes that we will all miss greatly.
Dad was an inspiration in the way he lived his life and in the amazing and positive manner with which he faced death. Even in his last 24-48 hours he smiled and greeted people with "I'm doing great, how are you?"
Cancer is a horrific disease, but even as it ravaged his body and presented the indignities that it does - dad kept a relentless war against it with his positive mental attitude.
Dad adored life and his sweet "Benry" (mom). He loved his children and made us feel special with his prideful adoration and constant reminders of that.
Pop - I'm really going to miss that adoration - and you.
I can only imagine how wonderful it must now feel for you to breathe freely, to walk without pain and with ease, to hear with perfect clarity. I can only imagine you with that jet, black, perfect hair and those crystal blue eyes.
I can only imagine you telling God, Jesus and anyone else who will listen - of how much more efficiently heaven could be ran...if only...
Until we see each other again Pop - I love you.
