We were so shocked and saddened to hear of Joyce passing.  We were neighbors for forty two years.  Joyce was always kind, thoughtful, and smiling.  She, Robert,  and the kids were always good neighbors.  She will definitely be missed.

Me, Zowie and Rob always had fun with Joyce volunteering at the Back Pack program. She will be highly missed. She was a fun lady. 

I met  Joyce at the East Burke Senior Center..She was such a sweet and kind lady..Always so friendly and always smiling..She was a person everyone loved..I will always cherish her friendship..She was someone you could talk to freely because you knew you could trust her..We will all miss her terribly at the center..

Joyce was a truly wonderful woman,  wife, mother,  daughter,  sister,  friend.  I remember walking down the road to visit when Lala was born, Joyce just glowed with love and pride.  Such a sweet, gentle soul. Breaking beans on Mama's porch and the sweet fellowship we all had. Rest Sweet Lady until we meet again.

Joyce was such a nice person ,she was always so thoughtful of people.

Joyce was a lovely lady and lady is the correct word. She conducted herself with gentleness, grace, and love. In all the years I knew Joyce, she never uttered a negative word against any person and always kept a smile on her lips. She was generous, kind and dedicated to her faith. I recall a time she declined to earn money because it would have been made on the Sabbath. She will be greatly missed in the community.
I will be unable to attend the service. My heart is with you however and I shall keep you all in prayer during this time of grief and sorrow.

Joyce was on of the sweetest people I have ever met. There had never been a time I would see her she didn't have a smile. She was always willing to do anything she could for you. The last time I seen her was a week or so ago and she asked me how my knee was and I told her about the same. She told me she would keep praying for me. She surely will be missed! Praying for God's comfort to her family and friends.

hello I met joyce at the hildebran senior center. I start attend after my dad passed away. the first day I came joyce came up to me and starting telling me how happy she was that I was joining them she make me feel so welcome. we are making caps for the homeless and she would mess hers up and bring it to me to help her fix it. I was so proud that she thought I could fix it. Friday we talked about her cap and I told her she had to do one row.well about two hours later she came up and said you will be so proud of me. I have not done any. we had the best laugh. I will miss joyce and the center will not be the same .prayers to all the family.
