Lupe, what I remember most about Bart was his friendliness, and that he was always by your side. I don't think I ever saw one of you without the other. My heart aches for you because I know you must be missing him terribly.  My sincerest condolences to you and the rest of the family, and also to his many friends.  All will miss him.  May you rest in Peace, Bart. 

My deepest condolences to the whole family. When I got the news about what happened, I was in disbelief. I was hoping he would pull through as many others had. But, our Father God needed him much more than we all did here on earth. I know he leaves a huge hole in his  family & friends hearts. May God bring comfort to Lupe on the loss of her beloved husband... To Mark, Ernest, Natalie , Alyssa, Jacob, Marissa, Melinda and the rest of the family... May our Heavenly Father God wrap his arms around all of you during this time. 
Chepo was a very sweet man...always had a smile. Very kind hearted...
I loved watching him dancing in the living room with  Natalie... and him talking about dressing up to go to the Rodeo...

Papa, I still can’t believe you have gone and went to heaven. I know if you were here right now, you would say Mija don’t cry and be strong for grandma, and I’m trying it’s hard because it’s you. since I was a little girl I been a papas girl. I remember you picking us up and me and Alyssa fighting on who gets to ride on your back lol. I remember on Christmas helping you decorate the whole yard with lights and it was so beautiful. I remember the beautiful times and memories we share with you and grandma. I know I’m not supposed to be sad and selfish that you are not here with me now.  You will live through me pops my kids will know you when I walk down the isle my husband will know you. I will forever remember you and that contagious smile you had, and all the goofy times we had when I would make you laugh and you would almost cry. I will remember the times we would dance and sing in the living room. I will remember the times you cried when my little girl would come on. You loved watching Roy Rodgers and all the western movies you could find. Son of paleface will always be a classic. I know if love could have saved you, you would be here with me. God had other plans now you and your loved ones will be happy watching over all of us. Papa you are my world the first man I loved you carry a place in my heart no one can fill. I promise to go on in life making you happy and taking care of Alyssa and grandma. I will even finish teaching them how to drive lol. My dearest papa you were gone to soon but I love you so much as you knew. That’s what makes me so happy you knowing how much you meant to me and how much love I had for you and I definitely know how much you loved me. I’ll cry cause your not here with me which breaks my heart, but I can’t help but smile having with all these memories in my head and everywhere I go and look there is a memory of you pops. I’ll never let you go for this is the hardest thing that could ever happen to me. I will forever be your little girl💕

Tio Chepo I was heartbroken at the news of you being ill and then the news of your passing. In my mind I was hoping it was a dream but my heart knew it wasn't.   I will always remember all the good times we had at the cook-offs and the family gatherings especially your famous BBQ them ribs and brisket.  Also one of my greatest memories I will cherish, is when you, me and Tio Chuey would hang out and listen to oldies.
You were a great man Tio Chepo I will always Love and Miss you, may you RIP.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Chepo. I will always be grateful for him for all he did for me. My deepest condolences to all the family.

My most sincerest condolences to Lupe and her family for their loss.  Bart was a quiet, kind, gentle and at times a very shy man. Loved his Lupe and his sons unconditionally.  A true gentleman, easy to laugh and enjoy life. 

Tio chepo its so hard to accept that you are gone... i am still in disbelief I wish this was all a dream.. we never got to say see you later.. i will cherish all the great memories you will be missed tio.. i love you so much 💗 till we meet again.. your niece Sonya...

I was shocked and saddened to hear that you left us so soon.  I have so much fond memories of the family social gatherings and I will always remember the days when we would go fishing at Bacliff and Texas City. To this day, I am still jealous that you caught a big drum fish and I went home empty handed.

It was Tia Lupe and you who always go the family together to celebrate the many birthdays, new year celebrations, holidays, and I will always treasure those special moments.

You will never be forgotten, and I pray that you watch over all the family. When I look up to the heavenly skies, I know the lord has the best Tejano dancer next to him.

Until our next fishing trip....
