Benita N. Rodriguez, 96, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 in Houston, Texas. She was born on March 31, 1923 in Guanto, Mexico to Anacelto and Isadora Guerra Negrete. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joseph B. Rodriguez and her son, Carlos Rodriguez. Benita is survived by her children, Jesus Rodriguez and his wife Vicki, Daniel Rodriguez, Oralia Palacios and her husband Antonio, Jr., Steve Rodriguez and his wife Carmen and Alfredo Rodriguez; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 3, 2020 from 5-9 PM with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 10:00 AM in the Grand Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
