An extraordinarily gifted and caring builder, engineer, dairy farmer, business owner and Sunday school teacher as well as a loving husband, father and grandfather, Donald Keith Waltner was born in Monroe, Washington to Edmund Waltner and Florence (Stucky) Waltner. He is survived by his loving wife, Connie Waltner (also endearingly known as Four Horses) who he married on November 21, 2000 in a memorable place called The Hitching Post. Don and Connie have five children; Lisa Simmons (Steve, husband), Vincent Cascella (Gina, wife), Julia Cascella Tinkle (Presley, Husband), Bryan Waltner, and Jonathan Waltner (deceased); Six Grandchildren; Larissa Gordon, Justin Tinkle (Rebecca, Wife), Jackson Tinkle, Jonathon Tinkle, Vincenza Cascella and Gage Waltner and one Great Granddaughter; Emma Kay Tinkle. Don also leaves behind two sisters; Rosemary Waltner and Kathleen Gray and precious and dear friends as well as a wonderful Rocklane Christian Church family.
Because Don put his trust in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, he is now in Paradise free from cancer and heart disease. A Celebration of Life service will be held on September 12, 2020 at Rocklane Christian Church (4430 Rocklane Rd., Greenwood, IN 46143) at 10:30 A.M. Visitation will be at 9:30 A.M. Memorials can be made to the Rocklane Christian Church Building Fund.
