Gary Lee Crotty

Gary Lee Crotty, age 76, of Avon, Indiana passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023. Gary was born in Middletown, New York the son of the late Clifford and Gladys (Cole) Crotty. He is graduate of Middletown High School in Middletown, New York and Bloomfield College, Bloomfield, New Jersey. He was a General Foreman with Chromalloy Research and Technology, Orangeburg, New York. He was also employed by Home Depot, Middletown, New York. Gary was a member of the Delta Phi Chi fraternity while in college. He enjoyed ice fishing with friends and enjoyed playing golf with family and friends. He also enjoyed traveling. He was a talented carpenter/handyman and was always willing to help others with various home projects. He liked to customize closets, build shelving units, paint, update flooring etc. He always left his homes in better condition than when they were purchased. Gary was a family man and always enjoyed spending time with his children and his grandchildren.

Gary is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lois (Anglemyer) Crotty; his children, Kimberly Crotty, Brian Crotty and his wife Susanne and Mark Crotty and his wife Fawn; his grandchildren, Alexander and Tyler, Cian and Lila Crotty; his brother, Allen Crotty; and several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Scoobie.

Memorial Services for Gary will be held Sunday, September 24, 2023, 2:00pm at Brownsburg Seventh Day Adventist Church 4172 N. County Rd. 900 E. Brownsburg, IN 46112.
