Raymond Laverne Pender, age 92, of Whiteland, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. Raymond was born in Clinton, Indiana the son of the late Lavern and Melissa (Davis) Pender. He retired from the United States Air Force and then went on to have a lengthy career with Naval Avionics retiring in 1988. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sue Pender, his daughter, Carol McMurray, siblings, Eugene Preston, Elaine Johnson and Ruth Price.
Raymond is survived by his daughter, Shelia Wimmer and her husband, William, son, Michael Pender and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Raymond will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Family Funeral Care, 5791 Rockville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46224, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM. Burial will be in Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown, Indiana with Military Honors.
